I am absolutely in love with the frame/mirror. Really well finished. The theatre room colour is Taubmans Invincible. I think it is about $120 per wall to have a different colour. Really happy with it. Actually a bit darker than the photos. Re: Fairhaven Homes - Tiling done. ALMOST THERE! 471Feb 25, 2014 6:51 pm lovepub one thing i always hope is that all new home owners gets a nice neighbor and stand up for whatever cost they are responsible for. eg. damage or repair of items during their build. Or even maybe fair in sharing the cost for fences. Wonder how many people choose to suck it up and pay all themselves just because the neighbor is unwilling to share cost. I mean you will be living next to each other for next 20 or 30 years, and you don't want to get into a bad start with them..... Well, Lovepub, find your post about your land cost and size, I think we gonna get a same neighbor in between our lands. So let hope they are not going to become a trouble But then again, if they can afford the land and building, fence and wall is unlikely a issue... Re: Fairhaven Homes - Driveway done, turf Thursday 472Feb 26, 2014 7:35 am Nothing worse than a neighbour who is unresponsive about fencing etc. Re: Fairhaven Homes - Driveway done, turf Thursday 473Feb 26, 2014 7:48 am We went with a fencer who does it all for us! He was the cheapest and he sends the bill to the other neighbours! And if they don't pay they have to pay 2.5% every week that they are late! So hopefully it works in our favour =\ Re: Fairhaven Homes - Driveway done, turf Thursday 474Mar 03, 2014 12:15 pm So just by way of an update guys... The garage floor is being levelled and resealed today. An issue we had during the build but its being fixed now none the less. Turf all in and done and looks awesome. Measured out deck ready to drill and get started this week. We've also gotten our side fences up and they look great. Pics below! It's 140mm merbeau. There was also 3 pallets of the turf... a few pics of it going down. Transforming a house into a home. Re: Fairhaven Homes - Driveway done, turf Thursday 476Mar 04, 2014 7:25 am Thanks Lucinda, we decided to do both purely as fences, no gates, simply because the hot water service means I cant get a barrow down that side anyway. Re: Fairhaven Homes - Driveway done, turf Thursday 477Mar 04, 2014 7:42 am looks great, Did you turf the whole backyard? Re: Fairhaven Homes - Driveway done, turf Thursday 478Mar 04, 2014 10:07 am No turfed approximately 200m2, theres a further 300m2 that we are going to seed with a similar variety. Its a large area hard to turf and manage so much We are looking to do a KDR with fairhaven homes, Have seen plenty of good reviews about them pre construction and plenty of negative reviews about them during contruction… 0 18178 I've just built 3 stairs off a landing out the back and been told by the private certifier I need hand rails sorry tried to attach a pic but couldn't mine don't have sides… 5 5821 So I'm just reading up on this ecosystem of lights.
