I hope things start moving more quickly for you though, maybe this is our punishment for having such an easy time with the admin side of things? Hehe I'll be following your build pretty closely to know what to expect Re: Aveling-Harrisdale- Slab! 185Nov 10, 2013 12:16 pm I feel bad for ever having complained, it would now seem we had a dream run. Fingers crossed for some imminent action!!! Re: Aveling-Harrisdale- Slab! 186Nov 10, 2013 2:20 pm I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you!! I'm the electrician and they certainly don't have any documentation. I don't think it's normal practice for them to have any? It's common sense where it is, but how often is common sense lost when building My build: viewtopic.php?t=62001 My Thread: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=62001 Re: Aveling-Harrisdale- Slab! 190Nov 11, 2013 11:21 am All dug in cable, electrical should have documentation to where it was buried - well i thought it would be? Anyway thank yourself lucky, I am halfway through my build and got a call from aveling stating the mirror won't fit in my ensuite so now a wall has to be changed, the doors on one of my built in robes are too big and have to be changed and now the colours I have selected for my cupboards are no longer available? The joys of aveling Where is my $250 refund for variations lol Hopefully you do not have these issues and it gets going soon. I've not heard of or seen any documentation relating to consumer mains. It's a requirement that we draw the location on the inside of the meter box. That's all that I'm aware of. What colour cupboards did you have chosen? Organisation doesn't seem to be the strongest I must admit. They haven't satisfied my bank with their cover letter for builders insurance, but they don't seem to be too fussed to sort it out. Bank won't pay them until they do. I just hope that I don't get delayed because of it. Soak wells are still sitting there and no bricks to be seen. Well actually, I lie. Window frames are delivered and I have an Aveling sign! That's about all though. CL said bricks aren't expected for another week at least. Seems like it's going to be quite a wait from slab to bricks! Curing is at least 3 weeks, but it does seem that they take longer than this. Hope they have managed to start with the building now! My build: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=68002 Re: Aveling-Harrisdale- Slab! 200Dec 04, 2013 9:51 pm Tomorrow will be 6 weeks since slab. I know this is about the average wait at the moment, but it's definitely felt like forever!
