Doing a 3D 'walk-through' of my plans I discovered that no matter where I place the toilet in the powder room, it can be seen when you walk past if the door is open, and the doorway is in the entry hall, so every guest will walk past it.

I don't really want to move the location of the powder room.
Obviously the simple solution would be to keep the door closed, but I think that's unrealistic in my family, so I have come up with an unconventional solution which I'd like your viewpoint on:
If I have the door hinged so it swings into the room instead of to the wall & put the toilet behind the door, then the toilet won't be seen. If the door is open, the basin will be visible but I plan to have a beautiful blue glass basin that I'll be happy to show off - and guests can see where the powder room is without seeing the toilet.

Although it's slightly more awkward to enter & leave the room, I think it's a good (& cheap!) solution, but is it crazy?
