Re: Building with Ideal Homes In Iluka 84Mar 07, 2013 10:47 pm hey TJ fingers crossed for you that it works out well for u.. just make sure u keep on to them Re: Building with Ideal Homes In Iluka 85Mar 11, 2013 10:19 pm Well the roof finally finished today.. The electricians started today and are doing a great job... On a bad note though I had a building inspector go through today, mainly to ensure my roof was ok, turns out there are a number of issues with the roof that don't meet Australian standards.. So it feels like 2 steps back, I have sent a copy of the report plus a polite but stern email to the builder so I'm hoping they get their arse into gear and fix the issues.. Re: Building with Ideal Homes In Iluka 86Mar 11, 2013 10:24 pm Baby steps col. At least you'll have a solid home when all is done. Good on the inspectors for picking up on things. Re: Building with Ideal Homes In Iluka 87Mar 11, 2013 10:26 pm Thanks sb yeh the inspector was great... Worth every penny Re: Building with Ideal Homes In Iluka 89Mar 13, 2013 3:53 pm TJ, you can get an inspector at any point, they can direct you at to what time to bring one in, not every build needs one I just got one because I was sure that it was apprentices working by themselves on my roof and that was right. Re: Building with Ideal Homes In Iluka 91Apr 10, 2013 4:15 pm lots actually SB i have been slack in uploading photos but i need to get round to it.. we went to lock up today.. things seem to have been put in fwd gear the last couple of weeks which is great and can start to see the end in sight.. how are you getting through it all ? Re: Building with Ideal Homes In Iluka 92Apr 10, 2013 4:21 pm Well isn't that a fabulous piece of news. But what's with the not uploading photos? No excuses please. So glad youre finally seeing some busyness around your home. I'm about to head out to mine but I don't expect anyone to be there (that way there's no disappointment) . Hopefully we will have roof cover next week some time. Re: Building with Ideal Homes In Iluka 93Apr 10, 2013 4:26 pm Ill get photos up as soon as i can i hope you have someone there today but i am the same about not expecting anything but stil end up disappointed if there isnt Re: Building with Ideal Homes In Iluka 94Apr 10, 2013 4:27 pm Col88 Ill get photos up as soon as i can i hope you have someone there today but i am the same about not expecting anything but stil end up disappointed if there isnt Haha yes we are all the same it seems Re: Building with Ideal Homes In Iluka 95Apr 10, 2013 5:37 pm Re: Building with Ideal Homes In Iluka 96Apr 10, 2013 6:07 pm Oh wow, you are so close to lockup. Went past mine...... ..... ..... Wait for it .... NOTHING, except for a really really really grotty building site. I don't think I've ever 'officially' complained about them, and certainly won't on my thread (at this stage!?) but they are by far the messiest, yuckiest builder ever. It's spread wide and far and not once have I ever seen the concrete pad in a 'neat' condition and the tradies are also leaving their c.rap everywhere eeekkkk Re: Building with Ideal Homes In Iluka 97Apr 10, 2013 6:12 pm Col, good to see things moving for you SB, I live in a street/suburb full of trash-filled building sites that fill my garden on a daily basis with debris. Makes me SO mad, especially when their carelessness cause a puncture in my tyre Our land title should be released this week so once things begin happening, I'll start up my own Ideal Homes thread Re: Building with Ideal Homes In Iluka 98Apr 10, 2013 6:35 pm oh that sucks sb that nothing happened and yeh the sites can be disgusting ... when our plasterers finished one of them decided to leave his dirty socks as a parting gift.. Yeh tj things are defianately happening quickly now, the supervisor has a lot of jobs but seems to be really on top of things Re: Building with Ideal Homes In Iluka 99Apr 10, 2013 6:37 pm Col have you actually met your SS? We still haven't.
