Im very happy with what i have picked blends in well with the wall color. The boards are from Carpet Calls parador range and the color is called cocoabolo. really nice flooring..how much was he total cost psqm including installation? We live in a rental that has floating boards and the children running around isn't pleasant, the again being an old house, it's raised... But I just feel one color for all rooms is too simple. There are varioud kinds of colors of laminate flooring for you to choose. And many other colors can match white color very well. One color per room will be better. But maybe the total look will be nice after furniture is placed.

I would never do a separate colour for each room, I think that would look very disjointed. We want our house to flow through smoothly from one area to the next, however we are doing carpet, all the same one, in formal lounge and bedrooms, then floating floor, all the same one, in hallways, kitchen and casual living areas. To put anything over slate you will need to put self level compound over the entire area as slate various in thickness and is very un even.
