Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Jan 02, 2013 5:31 pm Hi all, new to posting on the forums but have been trawling for quite some time. I am currently considering using Hotondo homes, the Van Dam franchise (Hallam, Vic) to build a new home, and was wondering whether anyone has any experience with these builders. Re: Building with Hotondo 2Jan 02, 2013 6:20 pm We finished building with another Victorian Hotondo franchise three months ago and they were fantastic. I don't know anything about the people in Hallam but Hotondo do have a very good name and we have spoken to others and they all have the same great reputation. You should go for a drive around your local estates that are currently being built, if they are building other houses then that's probably a good indicator. Also they are known for their quality and have great floor plans. Nothing over the top or unnecessary like some bigger builders and there are no unexpected costs. Good luck!
