Build Thread : Burbank Gen 22 Re: Anyone house had any progress over the Christmas break? 23Jan 01, 2013 7:12 am Fingers crossed for you, happy new year everyone Re: Anyone house had any progress over the Christmas break? 24Jan 04, 2013 7:34 pm Yes, we have had work completed after Xmas and again this week......our tilers commenced prep work just after Xmas and they have been back again this week and commenced tiling. Apparently they do not celebrate Xmas and were keen to work. We feel quite lucky as this is certainly not the norm. No complaints from us! We built the Wisdom Majestic 40 - moved in! Our blog - http://ourwisdommajestic40.blogspot.com.au/ Our H1 thread - viewtopic.php?t=54156 Re: Anyone house had any progress over the Christmas break? 25Jan 04, 2013 9:09 pm our dream home Thanks, we are near lockup stage so im not sure how many more weeks till we get the keys... I'm guessing once they are back it should take around 8 weeks with luck Wow, only 8 more weeks, how exciting. Your build has gone really quick, seems the opposite for us which is funny seeing as we are building with same company and all. We haven't had any work happen over Christmas but didnt really expect any since we didnt have anything arranged there for all of December... ho hum, 3 months since start and not much to show for it... heres hoping lots to happen in New Year Re: Anyone house had any progress over the Christmas break? 26Jan 04, 2013 9:48 pm Hi jpc, that's just me being hopeful.. I have no idea how long! But i will be calling the SS on Monday about a recent concern that can hopefully be sorted next week.. We have had no work done since around the week before Christmas so I guess it sounds like there is three weeks missed with your SS change I'm hoping by the end of next week they have at least started the painting.. Re: Anyone house had any progress over the Christmas break? 27Jan 10, 2013 11:31 pm Still nothing..... Now we have been told mOst won't be back until the 14th to 21st..... Re: Anyone house had any progress over the Christmas break? 28Jan 11, 2013 10:13 am We reached lock up just before Xmas. Our builder is off until Monday 14th - but we knew that and they were working right up until the Friday before Xmas. Our tilers worked from January 2nd so all bathrooms have been completed and before leave our SS said he had booked the kitchen in for Tuesday 15th Followed by painters. Can't wait - fingers crossed, we get a kitchen next week... Yay! Cant wait to see our kitchen either . Not sure who you're building with, but I moved in recently to a 11month scheduled, 8 month actual build on the South coast/Illawarra NSW 3 5918 That is a really good attitude Akin to you catch more flies with honey than vinegar. I do enjoy watching that tik tok inspector from Victoria but he does go a little… 12 81896 8 6156 |
