We don't have a screen door at the front of our house not only because we didn't want to cover our lovely door but if we had the front door open we'd have a tornado through the house - it's much too windy where we are ... you're lucky to be able to have the cross flow .... Re: custom adenbrook home north coast NSW moving in 1118Oct 22, 2014 9:07 am 1rocky question time has anyone installed merbau quickstep timber flooring in their home. i have the opportunity to do so in family kitchen and living areas and wondering how members find it. especially in the kitchen with spills etc. thanks Not exactly what you asked for...but.. I have Australian spotted gum floor installed in the downstairs. We had similar concerns. Two years later the floor looks brand new. Others who have installed tiles in their living areas/kitchen, tiles are showing age of their homes already. Merbau will be similar if not better. Re: custom adenbrook home north coast NSW moving in 1119Nov 20, 2014 6:53 am thanks gunny still have not decided what timber to go with but am having aluminum shutters put in the alfresco area . which should cut down the amount of wind that comes through Re: custom adenbrook home north coast NSW moving in 1120Mar 03, 2015 2:14 am Hi 1rocky, what a stunning home and I love how you've blended the landscaping colours with the frontage.
