Re: Building with Aveling, the Wellard - successfully SLABBE 172Feb 10, 2013 4:02 am Hi Serialbuilder, I walked through the Wellard display home today and really like it. Its pretty close to exactly what we want. I have pretty much decided that I want to build with Aveling. But I am unsure as they dont seem to offer any incentives with the houses like everyone else is offering like ducted aircon etc. But I have read alot of good comments about them so far. Just wanted to ask you a question cause this is my first time building. In one of your posts you mentioned asking for a sweetener and the builders gave you 5k towards the kitchen i think it was. At what stage of the process did you bring the topic up? At the early stages, when talking to the salespeople in the display homes or later on in the process? Hope you dont mind me asking. Cheers Re: Building with Aveling, the Wellard - successfully SLABBE 173Feb 10, 2013 5:38 am congrats on brickies date Re: Building with Aveling, the Wellard - successfully SLABBE 174Feb 10, 2013 8:54 am Thanks SW and Rocky I will pm you Gingaskippy - and welcome to H1. Re: Building with Aveling, the Wellard - successfully SLABBE 176Feb 10, 2013 10:33 pm Thanks Bradster, can't wait to see it come together. Bricks should get delivered this week some time. Re: Building with Aveling, the Wellard - successfully SLABBE 177Feb 16, 2013 10:43 am Well we are almost on track. Thought our timeline was going to go off course again but now it's looking like we might be just a couple of days late in the CLOs estimated time for brickies start. There was still nothing happening on site by Thursday morning apart from a dunny and shed, they hadn't even done the site clean up from the mess the plumber left behind . But by last night everything had been delivered and we are ready to roll. - ok the window frames are missing but hey they can start without them right?
