I am severely jealous of how organized you are. We just are struggling to get things done. I love love love the red in your Kitchen. Oh and don't get me started or the useless T$ls%a. I swear I think they are trying to send me insane. What grass did you end up going with. It looks great. Re: Building with Aveling in MH- 1 week post move & pics 772Aug 24, 2013 10:32 am Oh man it must be challenging being at work so much when your headspace is with the house and all the things that need to be done...! Lol SB and your bung knees! You've done a wonderful job. I think your serial building experience is really coming through in your colour choices and special touches as for you finding the kitchen shape old fashioned...maybe I'm missing something cause i never thought it was? And honestly...the shapes we see as modern now will all be old fashioned and it all comes back around anyway! I am so jealous of that huge pantry...I literally oooo'ed when I saw those pics lol! Ah women getting excited over pantry organisation hahaha! I understand what you mean though....used to fit all my stuff in a tiny studio apartment and now iv egot enough crap to fill a liquidation warehouse lol. How is that dyson animal vacuum????? I've been thinking of getting one!! Is it the stick or upright or follow-along version?? Hah!!! Your dogs avoiding the lawn?? Oh don't worry I'm sure they'll adjust to it enjoy it while you can hehehe! That's a bummer about your floor it's funny because I was scratching at a few samples from Karndean and Kenbrock just yesterday and the Karndean ones didn't show scratches at all where as my Kenbrock samples did...though the Kenbrock samples in store didn't. My flooring guy said it was probably because there was some sort of build up layer on my new samples that would wear off but I'm nervous...they're not terribly noticeable but enough to have me worried spending that kind of money. *sigh*!!!! I hope they sort it out for you! HD Re: Building with Aveling in MH- 1 week post move & pics 773Aug 25, 2013 11:23 am Renski Kitchen looks amazing sb. Bugger karndean aren't getting back to you. We're the planks scratched to begin with? Everything is coming along so well. Take a week off. Try to re charge batteries. I'm dreading all the stuff that will need doing PH Hi Renski, rep from Karn.desn did meet with me, we are awaiting a reply from head office. Yes some planks were scratched right away but most of the damage is now from chairs, dogs, vacuum cleaner and shoes. However I'm more worried about the lumpy floor and lifting/untidy looking planks. I'm concerned that the 'lumpy' bits are our slab. Always thought you can't have 'lumpy' as concrete flattens out naturally as it dries doesn't it? I hope they sort it out for you! HD Haha, yes my bung knees grrr, the things I could do if they were good again. Dogs have finally 'discovered' the lawns and are loving it. Lawn on the other hand isn't loving them!! . We need some sunshine and fast, so those roots can take hold before we have to lay the lawn to rest The dy.son is awesome. Its the hang on the wall, pink, sexy, battery operated version Have realized that vacuuming isn't an option because of scratching plus the fact that it takes at least 3 times longer than using this amazing German microfibre sweeper that my clever mum bought me. It doesn't miss a beat and picks up every single dog hair in one sweep - my mums idea of saving my knees!! I then suck up the hair and sand straight off the sweeper with the 'an!mal' vac and its done ready for mopping if it needs to. AMAZING!! It's that fast and easy on my knees that I was able to let my cleaning lady go - Shes not so happy Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Charnley Oh Serial, so much to catch up on, your place is looking amazing. They had to come out twice more but I now have an awesome connection. In fact it's the best and most reliable I've ever had!!! Still waiting on the bill though , which will be my next battle, to try and get that reduced due to 'continual stress and inconvenience' grrr. The grass is Sir Walter, love it Charnley, we had it last time too. Great for your kids, it doesn't cut them. Re: Building with Aveling in MH- gardens, pantry, animal!! 776Sep 10, 2013 4:31 pm Hey, SB, I forgot to ask....did Aveling give you a 'handover present'? Like a hamper or similar? Re: Building with Aveling in MH- gardens, pantry, animal!! 778Sep 10, 2013 8:26 pm No worries, sounds nice I'd heard along the grapevine that they give out nice hampers, I just wanted to see what goodies they gave. Haha Though a hamper full of cash would be the go! Maybe some post-build cash back?!
