Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Avonlee Estate 3Jan 07, 2013 9:07 pm Also, take a look in the current thread about Avonlee in general - http://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=53171 Re: Avonlee Estate 4Jan 08, 2013 12:06 pm thats great news..i have also got the email saying that titles will be available in April. Can i ask you that who are you building with and did they give you any idea that when they will complete the house? Cheers Re: Avonlee Estate 9Mar 12, 2013 10:24 pm Hi rahulvig, I got a letter today from Terranovis to advise that construction on the 20 lot section should start next week! Titles now due July. No doubt you'd be in the running to receive the same letter too. I wonder if there's any other Verdelhoers out there; if so come say Verdelho! Re: Avonlee Estate 10Mar 13, 2013 10:46 am Hi There, Thanks for letting me know that the titiles are now due in July. Thats a good news because at least we have some kind of written paper. I have not received the letter yet and that reminds me of updating my home address as when i booked the land i was in different address. I actually asked my builder that if they have any inside infromation about the titles and he said it might be in june or july. Usually we also get email but i guess i need to change the address. I was told that i am the last one who is buying a land in that section and they sold out all of 20 lots but i am pretty surre that i am not the last. I hope there will be more Verdelhoers.... Re: Avonlee Estate 12Mar 21, 2013 1:27 pm Sweet! Does the NBN email specifically mention 3A though? When I went to Intelligent Home to organise my comms, they advised that it was marked as Telstra Velocity, and would stay that way until NBN "picked it up". Re: Avonlee Estate 14Mar 21, 2013 2:00 pm You and me both! I tried using my phone on 3G data when I was out there last, it was dismal... My understanding is that the earlier stages are confirmed for the NBN rollout, but Terranovis have to tell NBN that there's another stage they have to do (not sure if they have or not). I'll be going for a drive on the weekend to see if anything has changed (since the civil works are meant to start this week); so I will post up if I see some changes Re: Avonlee Estate 17Apr 02, 2013 10:21 am yup..same here. i went past on sunday but everything is still the same. its getting annoying now.. They said they will definately start construction from 18 March week..God knows when we will see the changes.... Re: Avonlee Estate 18Apr 09, 2013 1:20 pm Hi, I send an email to Andrew and there is the reply... I am responding on behalf of Terranovis to your question. The agreed start date with the contractor was 18 March 2013 as advised to you. Unfortunately the contractor has had some start-up issues, particularly with resourcing and this combined with Easter falling at the end of March meant that the start has been delayed until this week. I confirm that works are now underway. We have a site meeting organised for tomorrow and will send a photo of the works to you following that meeting. While the slow start is disappointing this type of situation is not unusual in civil contracting and we have every confidence that the contractor will do everything possible to complete the works as quickly as possible. Please don't hesitate to come back to us if you have any further questions. Regards Re: Avonlee Estate 19Apr 11, 2013 2:19 am Good news; they have finally started! Looks like a trench dug on the western side for a retaining wall for the lots along the park, and survey pegs everywhere. Popped by for a quick look today while on lunch break; will have a more detailed look on the weekend when the workers aren't there. Re: Avonlee Estate 20Apr 11, 2013 11:41 am Finally we got some good news..I might also go on the weekend to see whats happening.. Andrew also sent me some pictures of the works as he promised..I just want to see how big the lot looks like because some times i think 338 sm is a bit small.... lolz |
