Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Dec 18, 2012 12:00 am Hi All, we are just beginning the process of building our first home. We have just received the paperwork for the block of land, and the preliminary soil report has come back as H2-D, potentially highly reactive clay. Can anyone give me a ballpark idea of footing costs for a 139 metre square design (Villa)? Should I be looking for another block, or is this fairly common for southern Adelaide? I have no idea about the extra costs related to footings for 139sm. But I'll bump this and see if anyone else has any idea Handover February 2011 Happy with our home Re: Footings Cost H2-D Preliminary Soil Report 5Jan 19, 2013 5:24 pm How are your plans going Jenifer80? I don't have any images posted because they are all on my phone. When I get time to transfer them to the laptop I'll post some I'm finding other Seaford Meadows people and other Fairmont people, so looking forward to getting new ideas and watching other people's builds as well. Most of Perth has class A (sandy soil), except for some areas near rivers or hills. 2 13091 |
