Will be there on the weekend putting in some timbers either side of the windows so the curtain pelmets have something solid to screw in to like wise for the heavy pendant lights. Re: Maddutchmans Parkwood(SA) House-roof on 47Feb 23, 2013 11:04 pm maddutchman roofing was finished today Looking good. That's one large roof. Gives it quite a street presence Is 30degrees the standard for this style or have you increased it? What are the heights of your ceilings? Looks like you will have some nice storage space up there. Good Luck with the rest of it. Re: Maddutchmans Parkwood(SA) House-roof on 48Feb 24, 2013 9:04 am DingoD64 maddutchman roofing was finished today Looking good. That's one large roof. I think we made it 30 degrees as it suited the style of house, and there is a heap of roof storage almost so i could put another room up there Re: Maddutchmans Parkwood(SA) House-roof on 49Feb 24, 2013 2:17 pm so i went and took pics of the roof front Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ front/side(great for solar) Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ side Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ rear(another solar spot) Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ rear/side(more solar) Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Re: Maddutchmans-golden grove(SA) House-roof on 50Feb 27, 2013 3:45 pm Hi we are embarking on the building process ourselves with a similar villa type design. we are at the selection stage with the sandstone front and red bricks. can I ask you if you are using the Brighton lite mortar? The super did say the tradies have enjoyed working on it as it was something not standard. Apparently the brickie should be there late next week or early the following, we have been notified that he is a bit slow in laying but due to the complex nature of the positioning of the mouldings and what not he was the most suitable. Re: Maddutchmans-golden grove(SA) House-roof on 54Feb 28, 2013 9:38 am does he have any others helping him i am sure he will also do a great job our tiler is also said to be the same but he is very good at what he does Re: Maddutchmans-golden grove(SA) House-roof on 55Mar 08, 2013 6:52 pm Re: Maddutchmans-golden grove(SA) House-roof on 58Mar 08, 2013 8:14 pm Davelle bet you can't wait to be waking up to that view!
