Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Dec 12, 2012 9:24 pm We signed our tender this week to start the ball rolling on approvals to build our home. Hopefully it won't be too long until our plans are ready for council. Is anyone else currently building with Wincrest or have done so recently? Was a very good experience for us from start to (almost) finish. Just one relatively small "fixup" to go and job is done. Where is Pemulwuy ? p.s. just googled, near Prospect resevoir/ Girraween ? Will follow your progress with great interest. Hope you have as good an experience as we had. Our house is still standing tall (as one would expect !) and we like the finished product, not much more we need really. Re: Anyone building with Wincrest? 4Dec 26, 2012 8:22 pm Hi jj, I read your thread in full about a month ago as Wincrest mentioned your build to us. Is good to hear positive feedback. We've just received the first set of plans to review prior to council so hopefully by end of January we will be at council. Our thread was updated (as you probably worked out) almost daily. Didn't tell Wincrest about it until after handover, so there was no "buttering up" by them. Wanted to keep it on the straight and narrow. Have 100's of photos, which has turned out a good move, had bathroom cabinets installed last week, and the installer was able to see where the pipes were before drilling through the tiles. I literally went around photographing each wall at each stage, as well as anything else that looked interesting. Worth thinking about. Wish you all the best. Once you signed the contract, they will find millions excuses to charge you. And have seen their sites unfinished for a long time. 4 24824 As title suggests, looking at using the interlocking Pentablock stacked stone products to replace failing timber retaining… 0 17864 I am building in claymore NSW and this is shown in the building envelope plan. … 0 10034 |
