I recently purchased a block of land in the Perth hills and would like to build a custom Timber home. There is also a place in wangarra called total frame(d)? home, who have off the plan timber queenslander homes. There also another builder called country crafted homes. There must be a few more local builders that focus on timber construction just hard to find. I know the other thing that people are doing is reverse brick veneer. So brick construction but with an external timber skin so it can be cladded - look of timber cladding and robustness of having internal brick walls.
