Do they have a supplier that you can get these through? We wanted to supply our own and pay for install but were told that we have to select from their range? It isn't in the prestart folder except for downlights. TIA Re: Monte Carlo, Home Group WA-Corimbia - Last items!! 526Feb 19, 2014 8:51 pm most people do lights and fans after hand over. Re: Monte Carlo, Home Group WA-Corimbia - Last items!! 527Feb 19, 2014 8:59 pm 2-cupcakes-pls most people do lights and fans after hand over. Thanks for the reply 2-cupcakes-pls Is that because their range is crap? Or do they not have a range? A bit disappointing cos I was hoping to just move in after handover without having to do those sorts of things. I thought it was as simple as buying what we want and then paying them for the install. Typical, nothing is ever as easy as you think Re: Monte Carlo, Home Group WA-Corimbia - Last items!! 528Feb 20, 2014 8:23 pm J+C HGWAbuild 2-cupcakes-pls most people do lights and fans after hand over. Typical, nothing is ever as easy as you think I think the main reason is the huge saving in cost by doing it yourself after handover J+C. Plus the fact they may not have what you are after. We are doing all our lighting after handover as well. Re: Monte Carlo, Home Group WA-Corimbia - PCI!! 529Feb 27, 2014 4:49 pm Well, its been a very eventful and stressful couple days. The wedding is here and no house. My OH got on the phones on wedsneday to say this isnt ok and by the afternoon we were booked in for PCI today at 7pm. Our CLO had quit and so it was hard to get anybody to contact us back.. Our SS had been in before and noted some fixes.. most we will keep until the 140 day fix. Not much to fix so we are happy with that. Some advice, they wont give you keys until the bank has valued the property. They valuers need 48 hours notice. Ask for your final progress payment invoice as this needs to go to the costing department to be adjusted before you can give this to the bank to release the funds.. Our SS, costing department and our bank progress payment ladies have been fabulous today pushing everything through for us.. I really hope we get the keys tomorrow.. Re: Monte Carlo, Home Group WA-Corimbia - PCI!! 534Mar 12, 2014 2:17 pm Well we moved in and were able to get the keys on time.. sadly the house wasnt fully finished.. toilet was leaking, the site clean never happened..the house was filthy.. we spent friday night and saturday morning cleaning and then moved saturday day/arvo.. (cigarette burns in our shelving.. honestly!) As the shower had only been sealed on friday we thought we wouldnt use the shower as the toilet in ensuite was broken too.. monday morning the hubby decided to use the shower and thats when it all happened.. the ensuite flooded and bedroom 2 on the public holiday.. we have found out the plumber drilled the shower head into the water pipe.. we had a water feature in our powerpoint with a nice steady flow of water.. my straightener was plugged in but thankfully not on.. Its taken 9 days and the house is still having tradies come in and repair.. they have done the best they could but i am still unimpressed its not fixed fully.. carpets are the last to be done.. my relaxing week off before the wedding was hectic with being around and up for all the tradies coming and going.. be glad when its all over.. other than that, we love the house and cant wait until we all settled with no issues.. http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c167/nixter_/4C443687-78CD-4978-AEEE-4059871FEBD5_zpsd0fxm28e.jpg http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c167/nixter_/79FC574F-E9E2-408F-975E-75323FAF1CFF_zpsgslwr7zs.jpg Home Group WA Monte Carlo Timeline on Page 1 Re: Monte Carlo, Home Group WA-Corimbia - PCI!! 536Mar 12, 2014 2:32 pm That is terrible to hear about the plumbing, what a mess they made!
