They both seem to have alot of people build with them. I did notice when we were choosing DA were expensive but i didnt find Summit to be much cheaper either. I think perhaps needs come down to floorplan and your sales rep. Who are you more comfortable with? which floorplan needs least amount changes/upgrades? Agree completely. Our biggest deciding factor was that Summit had the design we loved, rather than just liked. We were always going to build a house with a skillion roof, and there aren't many out there. Rural Building do some very nice ones, but were way out of our budget. Switch had a nice skillion design house in Woodvale, but we didn't like the internal room layout.
