Yes, this was a selling point for us too. Especially once we have kids, bed 2 is easily accessible! Re: Our Burbank Lukin 2800 - Grand Lakes VIC 5Jan 20, 2013 12:37 am Color selections are booked for 1st Feb! Woohoo can't wait, we kind of have an idea as to what we want so hopefully everything pans out ok and we don't blow our budget!! Re: Our Burbank Lukin 2800 - Grand Lakes VIC 6Jan 20, 2013 1:17 am We were playing around with http://www.studiom.com.au and have concepted what the front colors could look like. Obviously the facade is different, but, these are kind of the colors we are going for Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Re: Our Burbank Lukin 2800 - Grand Lakes VIC 7Jan 20, 2013 7:50 am Hey Nick, it all looks great! I like the changes to the floorplan and the flooring concept. Facade is really nice too. Exciting to have your colour selection appointment soon, you will have to share your ideas! Good luck and keep us updated ...I'm hoping we may be in by April - fingers crossed! Re: Our Burbank Lukin 2800 - Grand Lakes VIC 8Feb 01, 2013 11:11 pm And our color selections are complete!

We wanted a similar carpet colour (like the display home) but they told us the ones in the display homes aren't actually available. How stupid is that? ...and the two contrasting bricks will look great. What kind of timber flooring is it? We didn't look into it but I would definitely consider it for our next home (who knows when that will be!). My build thread: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=61233 Re: Our Burbank Lukin 2800 - Grand Lakes VIC 13Feb 03, 2013 6:42 pm Initially we wanted hard wood floors but price was too restrictive so we chose bamboo instead, I didn't research it much. I over budgeted and thankfully what we wanted came in a lot less so chose that. We were orginally going to tile the living areas but the tile we chose was 1000 dollars more than the bamboo so we just tiled the bathrooms and laundry, carpet to bedrooms and rest of the house will be floor boards. We also chose off white mortar so bricks will look pretty awesome Re: Our Burbank Lukin 2800 - Grand Lakes VIC 15Feb 03, 2013 8:28 pm Nah I think that makes that area look a little unproportional now. That section is inset and has a contrast brick there, so we will plant a few trees to spice it up a little. Re: Our Burbank Lukin 2800 - Grand Lakes VIC 17Feb 27, 2013 10:49 am Getting really excited now! Settlement is this Friday 1st, our building contract has been signed and finance has been approved! Hopefully they will start work on the site in about 3 weeks...maybe This certainly doesn't look good. I would be engaging with an independent inspector to have a look at this.
