Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Blueprint build in Brabham, WA 241Jan 31, 2013 11:57 pm I know!! It's exciting, I went there this afternoon after thermomix consultant training and wanted to take pics but my phone had no power from the kids playing Candy Crush argh! Will go back tomorrow and post some pics then. The kitchen window isn't right, DH said its something about the frame in back to front or something but he's getting it fixed up so shouldn't be a drama. I really am in love with those bricks! xxkatxx it'll be a shame when you build because I won't get to see them as I drive up the road! Re: Blueprint build in Brabham, WA 243Mar 18, 2013 5:06 pm Wow!!! Im so glad you went with the dark floor, looks so classy!! and your kitchen is huge hehe we had a peek through the window a few weeks ago but it was no where near finished. I can't believe how quick your house went up...I reckon ours will be 6 months from slab down Im waiting to hear when that will actually be though! Good luck for the move Re: Blueprint build in Brabham, WA 247Mar 18, 2013 6:36 pm You kitchen is amazing!! I hope our build goes as quickly!! Ours isn't nearly as big Re: Blueprint build in Brabham, WA 248Mar 18, 2013 6:49 pm busybusy Mel which house are you in? Every time I drive in I wonder which one it is. Kat did you get my pm? It kept saying user doesn't exist or something. Yep 17 weeks from slab down! 17 weeks?!? Considering how big your house is that's a miracle!! We are going to head over tomorrow when i finish work to see if there is any sign of life on our block and to check out the park! I got no pm? I do find that the pm system on this site is a bit d0dgy...always have to change the name of the person you want to send it to or it goes to some random! Re: Blueprint build in Brabham, WA 249Mar 18, 2013 8:14 pm lol kat I have never experience that problem in the PM system and I am regular user of it hehe. BusyBusy looks amazing! We're dealing with the problem that after easter our child has to go to the new day care in ellenbrook, yet we won't be living there yet, so it's going to be a big detour for a few weeks. Re: Blueprint build in Brabham, WA 251Mar 18, 2013 8:51 pm Kat the same thing happens on my phone. Goes to send to complete random or I have to type in name myself. No issues on the computer though Re: Blueprint build in Brabham, WA 253Mar 18, 2013 9:17 pm Thanks Leanne was worried I was going a bit crazy haha Hey Busybusy what colour did you select for your wall paint? Looks gorgeous!! I keep looking at your entry light too...I can't wait until I can start buying all the finishing touches! It must look pretty nice at night time, looks like it would give off patterns on the walls! Re: Blueprint build in Brabham, WA 256Mar 18, 2013 9:33 pm Ah what a shame! If you're up there tomorrow let me know, I'll be there prob around 3:30ish Here's another one of the kitchen I found on my phone Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ The walls are Smoked Pearl. I feel bad that you're going to have to deal with the noise of our place going up :s hopefully the tradies behave themselves! We won't be able to make it up there til 6:30ish tomorrow but Im sure we will bump into you once we get a slab Re: Blueprint build in Brabham, WA 258Mar 18, 2013 9:44 pm We will see you at the street party, AC. Not sure what time we'll get there, probably around 12 ish. It'll be ok Katt, I'm sure they'll be fine. We were the first house built on our old street so we know what it's like! Here's the cook top and ovens, I love the tiles. Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Re: Blueprint build in Brabham, WA 259Mar 18, 2013 9:46 pm The splashback tiles look amazing!! From the full kitchen picture i thought it was glass! What colour are they? Can't tell if it's brown or grey Thank you so much everyone. This all makes a lot of sense.
