Anything at all? Re: Our Half Acre Heaven- waiting on titles 124Apr 10, 2013 9:49 am I have chicken pox so past caring atm . Just been laying low. Hazards of working with kids I guess! We were told the titles office were getting the UV of the blocks from shire last week. Don't know if that means they are near the end of the process or not. Having not been on here for months I was looking forward to seeing where you were at, such a shame for you, you must be so frustrated. On another note, your plants are looking fabulous! I am so impressed, I wish we had done something similar. We have only just started planting - and they are tiny tubestock! Our Strzelecki Gums which we planted before almost 2 years ago are growing beautifully though Fingers crossed that you get some good news soon x Re: Our Half Acre Heaven- prestart variations locked in 128Jun 03, 2013 10:15 am Treeseachanger OUR SNAIL TRAIL Since others have posted their timeline I have decided to post our's 2010 September- Original block falls through- (private developer could not raise finance) 2011 January- Signed O & A for Block on other side of road Transferred deposit on block from previous dealing to this one Agent advised titles and settlement by March 2011 March- No Titles! I had no idea that these things could EVER take this long. I just hope this doesn't make you feel negative about your dream home. You are so patient Re: Our Half Acre Heaven- waiting on titles 129Jul 10, 2013 11:00 pm Just had an official letter from the developer ...dated 1st July. Can't believe it took 10 days to get here via the wonders of Australia Post! So now anything between 6-12 weeks before individual titles are issued.. They also got my name wrong on the letter which doesn't inspire confidence!! I hope we don't miss all the winter rains as we have to supply water for the build. Re: Our Half Acre Heaven- titles have finally issued 130Jul 18, 2013 10:32 pm Settlement agent has scheduled our land settlement for 2nd August. It seems odd, almost like a dream after all this time...it is hard to believe we can start building soon. All the landscaping is in now. I don't have pics to show, haven't been able to visit yet, we've had to move house. It was a pig of a move, almost 300 plants plus all the flooring for the new house. Glad it's over. Re: Our Half Acre Heaven- titles have finally issued 131Jul 18, 2013 10:45 pm So glad to hear hints have finally started moving forward for you!! Re: Our Half Acre Heaven- titles have finally issued 132Jul 18, 2013 10:51 pm I don't believe it. What a huge relief. Now let the fun begin. Congrats TSC. Re: Our Half Acre Heaven- titles have finally issued 135Jul 19, 2013 10:37 am Yay trees so happy and relieved for you. Not long now and we will be reading about your build. Bring on August only a couple of weeks. Re: Our Half Acre Heaven- titles have finally issued 136Jul 19, 2013 11:13 am Thanks everyone, I was really in two minds about continuing to post on H1, it was embarrassing me, with so many delays I felt I was posting under false pretences We've notified the water tank guys and they've given us an install date for middle of August. The tank colours were limited so in the end I've had to go with classic cream to match the house bricks, so the shed is better to be the same colour as tank. A pity, since I was looking forward to evening haze for the shed. "shrug". Even though we will be landscaping to hide the tank with shrubs, you still always know it's there and I don't want the yard to be "bitsy". So now we have to submit our shed plans to shire asap as it is taller than normal. Becos it's double garage and shed combined, the span is bigger. We also changed the pitch to facilitate solar panels being installed down the track. We also have to submit site drawings to the mob who are doing the ATU. Settlement date should come quite quickly! Re: Our Half Acre Heaven- titles have finally issued 137Jul 22, 2013 9:32 pm Hi Trees, We have the solar panels on our shed it works really well....I'm glad you didn't stop posting..... Here's looking forward to your build. Cheers AKB <!-- l --><a class="postlink-local" href="https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?t=62083">viewtopic.php?t=62083</a><!-- l --> Re: Our Half Acre Heaven- titles have finally issued 138Jul 26, 2013 1:16 pm Please don't stop posting! You are my motivation to still come on here! We also had a steeper pitch on our shed so that the panels will be at the right angle when installed. It actually made it harder for the installers to do and boy was it a bi*#h to build. Still it is nice not needing a frame on there like we do for the house HWS Bring on Aug 2nd!!!!!! Re: Our Half Acre Heaven- titles have finally issued 139Jul 26, 2013 6:01 pm Hi GF oh wow, thanks for hanging in there with me!! I am happy that you still want to follow my progress but a bit nervous too- anyone wanting to see how solar passive is done should look back at your postings, I would love to be fully solar passive but just have to settle for the features we can afford. . . and hopefully reap a few benefits. Re: Our Half Acre Heaven- titles have finally issued 140Jul 27, 2013 1:47 pm You will - the benefits are amazing and so easily gained which is why I'm surprised not more people do it. We aren't a fully passive house but it's certainly working brilliantly and it's so nice only getting phone bills and rates and nothing else! Quite nervously anticipating our winter power results.. of course there are legal avenues. You've already mentioned it. Sue them. I find it odd that lawyers wouldnt be willing to take on the case, given CCT evidence and… 1 23764 "Losers" "humanity" "off time" "your" "top notch" "love symbol" Sounds like ponzo is done using other people's toilets 36 23884 |
