We had handover today and PD gave me a lovely overnight bag with a makeup bag included... looks uni sex. So anyone building with PD this is what you will get

Someone on a previous thread mentioned they got a hamper of gourmet foodstuffs, that sounds a great idea, I think someone else mentioned a complimentary dinner - now, they're presents everyone could use, not sure about the vase idea, whatever they picked not everyone would like it, plus the gifts often have their logo on them as subtle advertising, would you really want a floral feature on your hallway table with, say, Porter Davis, prominently displayed?? :lol:

If I spent a couple of hundred dollars at officeworks online I can get an overnight bag and makeup case. Thought if you spent a couple of hundred of thousands of dollars you'd get a gift that that kind of money merits.

We got from Carlisle a nice bottle of Red (Wife says it's nice. All tastes like cats wee to me) & a stainless BBQ set in a hard carry case (which goes nicely with our free BBQ when we purchased the land 2 yrs ago)...

Don't want to be a party pooper but my immediate reaction on seeing the pic was "underpants with a carry handle". (Mighty large and old-fashioned underpants, but underpants nonetheless) ;-)

I think something like a new BBQ would be nice - otherwise don't waste my time with yet more rubbish to fill our home with. Don't know about you guys but we are flooded with rubbish in our place - clutter!!

I'm sure travel goods will come in handy for a lot of first home buyers with rising interest rates, probably won't have the chance to use them for a long while. Still at least you got something. A relative is still waiting for a promised dinner set from the big M after a year (along with some house fixes mind you) :shock:
