Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Nov 20, 2012 7:32 pm Hello, Can I get some advice on what sewer line expansion couplings and swivel joints might look like in their natural habit? We've just had some plumbers on our site over the past few days doing their work in preparation for a concrete house slab. We've got "P" classified soil (clay) so our contract specifies that our sewer lines are to have expansion couplings and swivel joints to sewer drainage lines. The problem is I can't see these items in the few places I can see. Can anyone say where they should be and what they might look like? I'm expecting them to be near the surface where the sewer pipes will go through the slab. Thanks!
