Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Building the Drysdale 30 101Dec 05, 2013 7:54 pm Very exciting! We are really happy with the brick colour. For quite a while we were going to go with Jarrah, but then decided on Rouge not long before our colour selection appointment - I'm loving the colour soooo much! It goes so well with our window colour which is white birch. Roof is Woodland Grey (and gutters, facia and downpipes) Garage door will be Dune (along with the feature render) Can't wait to see the render and garage door - well can't wait to see the whole house!!!! They certainly are flying along. After plaster it will all just sit there till the New Year when they start up again. Re: Building the Drysdale 30 102Dec 06, 2013 2:02 pm We were in our Drysdale roughly three weeks earlier than contracted so you might be lucky. I like the nib wall in between the shower and spa. We have a gap there, with the shower glass running all the way to the floor. It gets very dusty, I wish we had seen your photos before starting. HD Re: Building the Drysdale 30 103Feb 02, 2014 3:27 pm Things are coming along very nicely with our build. No complaints to make at all. Very happy with our site supervisor and his team. Rapt with our Shaker style kitchen. Was expecting a textured finish on the cupboards, but it's all smooth - maybe satin finish??? Big Fat Bonus!!! Tiler wants to meet with us before he starts to make sure that the right colours of tiles have been delivered. Guess he's been stung before???? SS thinks we might be in by the end of the month. Fingers crossed!
