Our standard HIA contract says "Time to commence work - 45 working days" and "Time to complete work - 300 working days". That's like 14 month... Mind you we only have 4*2 single storey house. 4-5 month from the slab is about right.... However that said, my inspector has since found defects such that the house can't be considered to be at lock-up.
