Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Nov 18, 2012 5:53 pm Hi! We had lockup a week ago and was just curious to see how long it took others to get from lockup to handover? We've been told by the builder anywhere from 12 to 16 weeks... Our cabinets and tiles have been delivered but it just feels like it should be quicker than 4 months. Probably everyone says that though We are also building a two storey so I guess that may also make a difference.... So, just wondering how long it took you to from handover to getting your keys.... Hi Mofflepop, I would recommend finding a building designer to prepare plans, they should design to your specified budget. The benefit is you can tender the project out… 9 20402 No the fireplace doesn’t work. It’s been enclosed. I’m not sure what was removed, as it was done quite some time ago - well before what I can see with photos online… 2 11576 Congratulations! Nice to put that to bed before christmas, now you can relax 3 7168 |
