Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Nov 18, 2012 6:59 am Hi All, After finally moving into our newly built house & having excess soil not knowing what to do with it, I came across a site called ..... fillwanted.com.au . This site has two categories, people who are looking for fill & those who want to get rid of it. The catch is you usually need to arrange delivery yourself. But last time I looked, the actual fill is for free...it's worth a look & might save you some$.....I'm doing this just wanting to help anyone who was stuck like me out. Incase you're wondering, I had 50 tons (yep, this is not a typing error ) to get rid of, I listed it & had plenty of calls, but those who wanted it needed it two to three weeks later & I had to dispose of it asap. So the moral of the story is list your job early....I hope this helps. Sounds like rubbish to me. Ask for the contamination report which I doubt they have. If it's part of a normal subdivision it would have had a contamination report done… 9 5661 I would be wary. Is you site demilished but nothing else done? Sounds like liquidity problems to me. Our builder did the same. Got hundreds of thousands of dollars of… 2 15413 I am not sure whether Perth has its own way of doing things in regards to this. Most of Perth has class A (sandy soil), except for some areas near rivers or hills. 2 13106 |
