Thoughts on this please!! 3Nov 18, 2012 12:29 am I'd 'lean' on it and knock it over if it was me. We did it with a few half walls we weren't happy with when we built our house. Re: Thoughts on this please!! 4Nov 18, 2012 10:26 am Gawd. I could do a better job than that. I wouldnt be overly happy with it. - MrsT Brought first house in 2008. Renovated...a LOT. Built in 2013. Lol, well there are no 'empties' on site so I would assume not, although at least that would somewhat excuse this disaster. Building the Riva by Dale Alcock Homes. One of the bricks has been removed and replaced as it was quite twisted. It is level, but there is a lot of bowing and stuff, but I assume that will all be fixed with plastering and all that? They should be redoing that IMO. Thoughts on this please!! 14Nov 20, 2012 3:17 pm I'm not sure, I mean I wonder how many of the walls would look straight if we were to take a cross section of them? Plus, it will be plastered so the way it looks shouldn't really matter, as long as it is level and sturdy? Function is the only thing that really matters with internal walls...that's what I'm telling myself, anyway. The external walls so far look AMAZING. I'd just hate to get to plastering or tiling stage and find out that there is actually an issue with it and have to mess around with it all then rather than now, so I think DF will take up the SSs' offer on meeting with him on site to ease our minds. It's hard, you want it all to LOOK and BE perfect in every way possible. Building the Riva by Dale Alcock Homes. The only way you should have such a gap is when they chase the walls later for the pipes and electrical... And if you are anything like me, I can tell when walls aren't plumb and it irritates the heck outta me! Yes!! definitely speak to them about it.
