Does the bank accept it this way since they would hv approved just the tender document from the one builder?? It must be a common situation, so am asking how everyone ends up handling this Re: Building At Edmondson Park 3037Jun 25, 2016 11:34 am Hi bluemviews, your bank will need the final signed building contract in order to approve/proceed to settlement of your construction loan. Clarendon only add the provisional allowance in your tender until you sign the final contract in which case any provisional allowance is removed. What we did was obtain individual quotes for blinds/shutters, flooring, concrete and turf and gave these to the bank on top of our contract in order to get approval for money for these items also. My builder went through CDC and private certifier. I got similar from council. Did you speak to your builder if they should have paid this charge? Then reduced the amount we were putting towards construcrion so we will have sufficent funds once our build finishes to complete.
