Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Building At Edmondson Park 1905Jan 21, 2015 11:01 am Let me just say something, the quality of your home depends a lot on the quality of your site supervisor. If he cares for the job and makes sure that the work is done correctly, then you will be happy. The display homes you see are built to shine and make you fall in love with them. They are built with the best of the best and have all the added inclusions. The best advice you are going to get is from word of mouth, not by going to display centres and talking to **** sales reps. Re: Building At Edmondson Park 1916Jan 26, 2015 9:27 am maverick343 The estate has got recycled water and a water tank is unnecessary. Thanks Maverick, Our builder had included almost 10K for the tank in our tender. I can now ask them to remove it i suppose. Cheers Re: Building At Edmondson Park 1917Jan 26, 2015 9:53 am Hello, Our construction quote "terms" states, "If air conditioning is proposed in your new home, please check with your ENERGY supplier and ensure that 3 phase electricity is available to the front of your property", any idea what this means, has anyone had issues with installing air con in bardia? appreciate any help. Cheers Re: Building At Edmondson Park 1918Jan 27, 2015 10:28 am Your builder can remove the allocation for the tank but they will charge you a much smaller fee (around 2K)for the installation of piping and the grey water meter. All your toilets are connected to this meter. zappa141 maverick343 The estate has got recycled water and a water tank is unnecessary. Re: Building At Edmondson Park 1920Jan 27, 2015 10:40 am I am sure all electrical wiring to the house is capable of handling three-phase requirements. You will have to ask the builder what kind of metering they are supplying. If it isn't three-phase you will have to upgrade because from my knowledge all ducted systems require three-phase metering. I think Endeavour Energy is the supplier for whole of Edmondson Park. zappa141 Hello, Our construction quote "terms" states, "If air conditioning is proposed in your new home, please check with your ENERGY supplier and ensure that 3 phase electricity is available to the front of your property", any idea what this means, has anyone had issues with installing air con in bardia? appreciate any help. Cheers Thanks for your reply. I will just wait and see I guess. Trying to get some more information from our builder. 9 30233 |
