Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Nov 16, 2012 8:16 pm Just wondering if anyone knows what is the correct location/positioning for the water meter and electricity dome/telstra services... We want to build a front courtyard and the telstra/electric dome is borderline on the setback (perhaps just a tad inside)...The water meter however is 1.5 metres inside the setback!!! Am I correct in thinking that all the services should be located on the verge side so that if any works/maintenance are required by the relevant authorities that it would not interfere with one's landscaping etc? If we put up our front courtyard/boundary wall so that they are located on the outer edge not only would it be a funny shape but it will also be a small courtyard at around 3metres! Anyone know if we are able to ask the water corp to move the meter closer to the boundary? Any suggestions?
