Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Nov 16, 2012 5:27 pm We are almost ready to put our names to the tender but can't decide if we should put windows in the garage. Every house that I have been too has windows with coverings. But the coverings are always closed. This makes me think don't worry about it. Also if we want to put some type of shelves in at a later stage the window would be in the way. If the blinds are always closed - why bother ? Also, just another extra cost to have them covered ? We would welcome some suggestions on this one ..... thanks again ! They are also handy if you set up workshop in your garage and want some natural sunlight/ventilation in the garage. Having no windows also means that if you want to hang stuff on walls etc it's a lot easier. The door idea, though, sounds pretty useful!
