Re: our simonds build @ seaford 3Nov 16, 2012 5:45 pm you've got one follower already, no at least two of us in one it's good to be neighbors have you got your footings variations? we haven't yet.. regards RWife Re: our simonds build @ seaford 4Nov 19, 2012 6:51 pm Bad day today.....We got our final plans today and there wrong we paid $3000 extra to have a colour bond roof and paid extra to have 25 degree roof pitch (it's a requirement for seaford meadows) and the final plans have a 22.5 degree roof pitch and a tile roof. Simonds have said they will fix them and get them back to me by the end of the week.... Also our land settlement has been delayed until thursday because of paperwork....ahh so annoying Re: our simonds build @ seaford 5Nov 19, 2012 6:58 pm RagnarD you've got one follower already, no at least two of us in one it's good to be neighbors have you got your footings variations? we haven't yet.. regards RWife Hi RWife, Yes we have received our footings. We've got everything now I hope our footing were really expensive compared to sammymac's. Ours were nearly $25000.00 Re: our simonds build @ seaford 6Nov 20, 2012 7:41 am sorry to hear about the footings.. I wonder what ours would be anyway don't stress out much, sooner or later we all will be there regards RWife Re: our simonds build @ seaford 11Nov 22, 2012 5:12 pm That's great! Bet you're excited! We are mulling over changes we might make, depends on what we hear back regarding the energy efficience of our layout with the aspect we have. But we are meeting up with Haydn on the weekend to go through a lot of things, so should have a better idea by then. Will keep you informed! Re: our simonds build @ seaford 13Nov 22, 2012 5:25 pm The nouveau in the end and we added timber windows and the timber slats above the windows (because of 2.7 ceilings) and rendor to the arch (if that's what you'd call it) I love the kew facade but my fiancée didn't. Re: our simonds build @ seaford 15Nov 22, 2012 6:49 pm Its quite expensive though, it was $9000 for the facade, then just over $1000 for the windows and then about $2000 for rendore and then we also got the coaba look timber garage door in our extras package, hopefully it will all tie together nicely. Re: our simonds build @ seaford 16Nov 24, 2012 10:43 am I hope your build goes as quickly as mine has. I am building the Livorno with Simonds, with a St Ives facade. The build started mid September and we have pretty much finished the fix stage now and will be into the final stage. The painter is in and is almost done so we should be in just after Christmas. Re: our simonds build @ seaford 19Nov 26, 2012 3:41 pm Caz76 Hi Taylor, We are building in Darley. Unfortunately no thread or blog to follow. I will try and post a photo tomorrow though. Would be great to see some progress pics from a fellow Simonds customer! We are nearly done with sorting our inclusions & alterations, so far so good! Re: our simonds build @ seaford 20Nov 29, 2012 11:28 am Wow your colours and land looks great! We're building with Simonds too in Geelong. We chose the same basin as you! It's so gorgeous. I've got a thread too. Ours starts next Wednesday. Thank you so much everyone. This all makes a lot of sense. I guess when you talk to a builder who butters up everything to look very polished, you get to start believing… 7 17628 of course there are legal avenues. You've already mentioned it. Sue them. I find it odd that lawyers wouldnt be willing to take on the case, given CCT evidence and… 1 23786 "Losers" "humanity" "off time" "your" "top notch" "love symbol" Sounds like ponzo is done using other people's toilets 36 23920 |
