Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Procorp - Administrator appointed 922May 02, 2013 11:51 am In the contract it does but nothing was signed when you did the inspection with them at that time. There leaving them out then going to SICORP for more money. Hence the extra time it's taking. Re: Procorp - Administrator appointed 923May 02, 2013 4:41 pm well Lairs we have not signed up yet although it states our known defects it does leave room to add more as they arise from when building underway, we have had problems now with Sekisui asking for more more money due to deals with Dons tiles and even with kitchen people we were directed to go with Beaumont tiles from Procorp at extra cost to us due to no selection choices and now Sekisui said we could go back to our preferred Dons tiles, we changed the colour only with floor tile and now the credit we should of received $2207.25 they say we will only get $508 or so back and the gas hot water system that was in both contracts now will cost us $640 due to plumbing not in yet. I have spoken to Rep from Sekisui & they are standing firm on increases so i called builders warranty and spoke with someone who asked if there had been any more variations to contract and I told them that these were not variations on our part and should be covered by them Im soooo over this 1 year since staring build and only have $15000 in interest payments to show for it Re: Procorp - Administrator appointed 929May 03, 2013 1:56 pm Hi All, this must be excruciating for you all. If you really want to get some action I would seriously consider writing to the minister of fair trading and to the head of NSW Treasury complaining about SiCorp. At no time have they complied with the claims handling guidelines nor have they provided you with the consumer protection that home owners warranty should provide. The fact they have not even had indpendent assessments done of all your properties infuriates me no end. Whilst home owners affected by the collapse of Westminster and cosmopoliton got a raw deal at least they had there properties assessed. This has gone beyond ridiculous. I'm sorry for you as it shouldn't be like this. Wishing you all the best. Re: Procorp - Administrator appointed 933May 08, 2013 9:08 am Hoping to have the Hard copy of our Contract arrive in the mail today - Not much choice left but to sign and proceed like it or not. Re: Procorp - Administrator appointed 935May 08, 2013 1:21 pm Brown they started within the 20 working days and that was 4 weeks ago today by forming up the driveway since then there has been a plumber on site last Friday and nothing at all otherwise. Driveway is still formed up waiting for quotes and approval they tell me. Glad we got the princely sum of $1.00 a day liquidated damages the way they are going I could be worth $300.00 by the time they actually finish. I'm sure they are worse than Procorp. Re: Procorp - Administrator appointed 936May 08, 2013 7:26 pm We agree with Liars 100%. At the current rate of construction and lack of communication, they are making Procorp look good! Our 20 day period is next Monday and we have no portaloo, bin or even a sign on the fence. Apparently we haven't even been appointed a new coordinator yet! We sent an email asking questions two days ago and haven't received a reply yet. I'll be calling hourly come next Tuesday if there is no action. I can't wait to receive our 3-figure cheque for liquidated damages. Might pay for another water bill Re: Procorp - Administrator appointed 937May 08, 2013 9:13 pm DandH The only way I actually got past the girl on reception on the phone was "well if everyone is busy can I speak to the person who terminates contracts" I was speaking to someone in a matter of seconds. I'm not sure but would a TV station be interested in this or at least the Japanese embassy to ask if all Japanese companies in Australia treat their customers like this. Re: Procorp - Administrator appointed 938May 08, 2013 9:40 pm Our 20 business days ended yesterday. Nothing's happened yet, there is no sign or port-a-loo, and we're yet to get a call from our supervisor. We were told today that our site clean would happen on Friday. We sent a notice of default by registered mail to Sekisui today as a precaution, so that we can end the contract if nothing's happened after another 10 working days from today. Starting to wonder what drugs SICorp were taking when they decided that Sekisui "are well placed to absorb all the ProCorp contracts into their current operations". Re: Procorp - Administrator appointed 939May 09, 2013 7:26 am We are still here quiet in the background and watching and waiting for results for you all! Just wanted to let you all know that, while some of us have moved on we still care! It's been a very interesting learning curve for us! And this process you are all enduring is yet another lesson for us, so we do watch this forum! Keep looking after one another during these stressful times folks! JustSaying! Re: Procorp - Administrator appointed 940May 09, 2013 8:09 am DeanandKerry. Very intersting to see how you go there. In one the phone call I had with head office I said if I was them I'd read up on clause 33. The only thing that worries me with it is that under clause 36 you could actually owe them money. The contract is so one sided it's bloody criminal. |
