Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Our build in Ellenbrook - Contracts Completed! :) 81Apr 21, 2013 1:21 am Hi Eddie, I came across your thread the other day. It is so interesting. We could possibly be neighbours as we have put a deposit on a block in Tilbrook Rise. I saw your photo from today and will take drive to the block tomorrow-we have been waiting for the roads to open too. Did you get any replies on the soak wells? It's great to be able to get a feel of the place now. I like the wetlands just metres up the road, also I saw tools on the block next door, is that your block? We are building through Aussie Living, we have taken 2 designs and merged them basically. Haha thats awesome, yeah unfortunately they are using our block to mix all the cement and what-not, hopefully they get off it this week so that our builder can get on to do a site survey. Re: Our build in Ellenbrook - Contracts Signed, Prestart Nex 85May 04, 2013 5:58 pm Just a bit of an update this week, we signed our contracts and submitted them to the bank to the plans valued so that it doesnt have to be done after the land has titled, which is only going to be good for us because it will just make things faster, we have been told we are very close to land titles now which is awesome. Went down to Ellenbrook again today and they have cleaned up the retaining walls and we now have street lamps! We are also building with C.H , currently at roof timbers stage. We have a Polaris next to us so have been able to walk through it, it's a nice design. Good luck with the next stage. We have been to the selection centre 4 times, and to the brick place 3 times, floor tiles once but we have found the ones we like at a Celebrations display, etc etc Re: Our build in Ellenbrook - Prestart Booked!! 95May 07, 2013 8:49 pm yay for a prestart appointment! very exciting! Look forward to seeing your selections Re: Our build in Ellenbrook - Prestart Booked!! 96May 11, 2013 9:15 pm As per usual we went down again today, and the block is clear! We can now see our block in all its glory and nice and flat, surprising the difference it makes when its flat. There was a guy working around the area and had a quick chat and he said he was doing the soil reports for the builders which again is awesome, he said that handover from developer to builder is in 3 weeks time and that the final layer of "hot mix" onto the block occurs this coming week, so we may finally be able to put in our sold sign! Re: Our build in Ellenbrook - Prestart Booked!! 98May 12, 2013 12:31 am The photo's look great, it's all getting very exciting now. We have our pre start on 16th May. We had a look at the costings and noted the roof tiles had to be low profile as per design guideline so ours were upgraded.. $1200. Missed that one in the paperwork, though they do look nice. Like you we can't wait for the signs to go up and then watching all the construction. We are going to take a look tomorrow. When building starts I'm sure I will be there almost everyday Good luck with the pre start Re: Our build in Ellenbrook - Contracts Signed, Prestart Nex 99May 14, 2013 6:03 am itzeddie John + Ash Hi Eddie Just come across your thread, we're building in Lexia 8 as well on Helms Loop. We've chosen HomeGroup WA, they had the best design to suit our needs and just liked the fact there was so much included. Have you heard anything on the tirles yet? Was round the block last week and saw that they had been cleared etc, shouldn't be long I hope. Yeah, I noticed they were doing a lot of specials at the moment, regarding titles it must be within the next three weeks as handover to builders is going to occur then, I would say they are going to be the last week of May, the previous stage titled in the last week of the month they were due. Thank you so much everyone. This all makes a lot of sense. I guess when you talk to a builder who butters up everything to look very polished, you get to start believing… 7 17570 of course there are legal avenues. You've already mentioned it. Sue them. I find it odd that lawyers wouldnt be willing to take on the case, given CCT evidence and… 1 23760 "Losers" "humanity" "off time" "your" "top notch" "love symbol" Sounds like ponzo is done using other people's toilets 36 23860 |
