You'll be locked up in no time! We finally got a building permit, but still waiting on LWP to accept our new set of colours after they rejected our original ones! Re: Our build in Ellenbrook - White Set Finished! :D 342Oct 24, 2013 1:26 pm Hi eddie, noticed your thread and how similar our build timelines have been. Also, I worked back in Woolies when you were there, I am Will (used to work in liquor). Good luck with the build! Also, I worked back in Woolies when you were there, I am Will (used to work in liquor). Good luck with the build! Haha wow, thats cool I will have to have a look through your thread Hows things? Just an update from the builder, Ceilings are scheduled to start Monday, with Lock-up occuring as soon as they have finished that, tentatively scheduled for the 6th of November but they expect it to be before that. Re: Our build in Ellenbrook - Ceilings Start Monday. :) 344Oct 24, 2013 8:55 pm I'd be thrilled if my builder moves as quick as yours Eddie Re: Our build in Ellenbrook - Ceilings Start Monday. :) 346Oct 25, 2013 1:34 am Fingers crossed lock up is early!! It exciting/upsetting all in one haha. Fatstuff - i had a 6 week delay getting approvals through LWP because they wanted me to change me colours! (And raised ceilings at the front!) in the end my builder told them no, unless you guys pay for it, and they did! I had to change from bricks on top and an off white render on the bottom, to have render over the whole front in 3 different colours. Our build in Ellenbrook - Ceilings Started! 349Oct 27, 2013 4:02 pm Time for the usual Sunday update, the ceilings have started being installed early. Main Bedroom, WIR and Ensuite, Theatre Room, 2 Minor Bedrooms, Laundry, and Bathroom are completed leaving only the Living/Dining/Study/Corridors remaining The photo makes it look darker than it is for some reason. We went with just the plain interior standard, but it's one of the things I'd like to upgrade eventually When we had our on site meeting the SS was actually very accommodating working with us to set a date to aim for handover since we had trades tentatively booked to do flooring and aircon, so don't be afraid to ask! As it turned out, they were ready to give us keys a week before the bank had finalised things at their end - so we were quite impressed with their efforts. Yeah, our main concern is buying furniture etc at the moment, we can wait for tiles until were definitely in, how did everyone go about ordering blinds etc? Should the plans be accurate enough for that? Re: Our build in Ellenbrook - Lockup 5/11 359Nov 05, 2013 6:10 pm Like the int door Eddie, haven't been up to the block for a few days. Went up today your builders seem pretty good, true to their word you have a nice green door waiting for painting. From this forum you will soon see not all things are done to plan Thank you so much everyone. This all makes a lot of sense. I guess when you talk to a builder who butters up everything to look very polished, you get to start believing… 7 17516 of course there are legal avenues. You've already mentioned it. Sue them. I find it odd that lawyers wouldnt be willing to take on the case, given CCT evidence and… 1 23758 "Losers" "humanity" "off time" "your" "top notch" "love symbol" Sounds like ponzo is done using other people's toilets 36 23834 |
