Having worked for many years in retail, if a customer signs to accept a delivery, that signature signifies 'yes, the goods were received and they were received in good order'. The onus is always on the customer to check the delivery, whether the store or the delivery driver mentions it or not - but I'm sure it will be in the fine print of the sales docket somewhere.
