I'm early stages but seriously considering building the Airlie 38. Getting a few options priced up currently. Did anyone else visit the colour showroom at this early stage and would you recommend it?
Hi Teddy,
I had my colours & electrical appointment yesterday. It was pretty busy in there and as said above, not that roomy. I think it is worth a bit of a look around to see what options are available. I spent a couple of months thinking about colours etc & was all set to go with a bamboo floor as I'd looked at various flooring shops - trouble is Boutique have very few options in bamboo (they say it hardly ever gets requested!). I had to settle for laminate which had the colour I liked, the solid wood was just too expensive for me (I'm doing the whole house). Other areas like the sinks tapware, good to see what's on offer. Fan and blind choices are pretty limited. I wasted a lot of time thinking about options that just aren't available, if you know these up front you could descope this from the PWC & do it independently after the build.
A paint shop also told me the Solver paints that Boutique use are now merged with Wattyl, but they only had Solver patches available (which are pretty extensive, so not an issue for me).
Good luck!
