Most of the plaster was done in 3 days. But they returned a week later to finish.
Doesn't help I go to my land everyday because I'm making a time lapse video of the build. Lol.
I guess something is better than nothing.

I don't go to our site everyday but my husband on the other hand is there everyday. His excuse is..."I like to know where my money is going" lol I'm just more into shopping for furniture, décor, bedding etc. And to be honest the only thing I am looking forward to seeing in the build is my kitchen and splashback (I got a smoked mirrored splashback) Re: Boutique Homes 1963Apr 01, 2016 11:50 am Haha. That's what i tell my wife. We only live few minutes drive away. Took a plunge and brought the sofa last weekend at the dfo. Will have to hold back and save for everything else. Lol. Smoked mirrored splashback sounds awesome. Haven't heard of that. Re: Boutique Homes 1965Apr 02, 2016 7:34 pm Ozden86 Not the best picture but this is my kitchen colours. New graphite cabinets, smoked grey mirror splashback and white shimmer bench tops with waterfall ends. That is going to look very nice. What colour flooring have you chosen? We went for the concrete look for tiles as it was the only thing similar to polished concrete look. So our house is going be very monochrome/industrial modern look. Just trying to find furniture now that I actually like (massive struggle) Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Re: Boutique Homes 1967Apr 03, 2016 1:54 am Ozden86 measure Ozden86 Not the best picture but this is my kitchen colours. We have a white/grey textured concrete Matt tile, with white bench top and charcoal cupboards. We went with a white splash back though. Re: Boutique Homes 1969Apr 03, 2016 10:06 am Ozden86 That's awesome cannot wait to see the process of your house. Is your tiles uptown bone lappato? No, we chose a tile we saw in a display home in Point Cook. It is called a Galileo 600x600 Matt Glazed porcelin. Looks like the below. This was a price on application tile which means it isn't part of their colour showroom. It cost us over $12k to get through our whole house. I'm pretty bad at updating it however if gives you some idea about what we have chosen so far. http://tropezienadventure.blogspot.com/ Re: Boutique Homes 1972Apr 03, 2016 8:42 pm measure Ozden86 Wow that looks stunning! Our bricks are the same and I also choose the Westinghouse appliances too, I thought it's easier to clean and looks neater. Your house is going to look really good once it's complete. Your also lucky boutique allowed you to get a sleeper pool installed, we weren't allowed. We have to do ours after handover. Regarding the pool, Boutique would only allow us to place it in first if it was 2.5m away. We have since decided to build the pool after the build so we can place it closer to the house which makes it more centered in the entertaining area. We are lucky as we still have enough access down the side of our garage that we don't need to do anything extravagant during construction. I'll be updating the blog in the coming days as we went back to our pool supplier to reconfirm some details and prices and we are very happy and excited with how it should look! Plumbing rough in completed. Bricks delivered last Thursday. No action so far on site this week. Think brick work was due to commence today but the rain overnight has seen that stopped. We are building the Barcelona 28 with a few changes. Any last minute tips before we go in tomorrow!!! Good Luck! My girlfriend and I had ours not long ago and it was fun. We went in with most of our main ideas already sorted so we got through the appointment quite quickly. I would suggest to just take your time. Don't stress about your selections as the consultants are great and very knowledgeable. Make sure you are happy with how everything looks. Don't be scared to change your mind and go down a completely different path. You also have to make sure that you are being 100% selfish. Don't think about how difficult you are for the consultant as that is their job and it is your home that you have to live with. Another good point is to ask who supplies the various fittings etc. Hume Doors supply all the doors for Boutique so you can check the website and choose a different door than what they have in the studio. Do the same with Coroma for sinks/toilets. We choose our front door and basins and some other fittings straight from the websites and not out of the colour show room. They are usually more expensive however you get some better looking products. With that all said, make sure you have fun.
