Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Boutique Homes 3262May 16, 2017 2:38 pm Hi guys, quick question. Who doesn't have waterfalls on their Island bench? If you don't, can you send me photo of what the below looks like? We can see the wood board that the stone benchtop sits on and in the corners it is lower than the stone. Looks very odd. SS asked if we wanted it siliconed up. But not sure. Forgot to take photo, so can't show you what I mean. Thanks. Our stone has yet to be installed Re: Boutique Homes 3264May 16, 2017 2:46 pm I will try to find a photo online, but I will take a photo next time at the house. Hard to explain without a photo. Re: Boutique Homes 3265May 16, 2017 8:05 pm SLHE People building with Boutique that had to have water tanks installed. Did you do this with Boutique during the build or post build? We are getting ours with the build, due to developer requirements. Re: Boutique Homes 3266May 24, 2017 9:54 pm We had our PCI today, sort of. Well no we didn't. After the first room it was over. Turned into a normal inspection as the house was not ready for handover. The paint job is awful. The rooms were covered in blue tape. Paint drips everywhere, paint missing, cover not even, water in the paint. They cleaned where the painter had painted all over the cabinets, and now it has a slight white tinge. Not sure how they will clear it, without wrecking the polytec cover. Walls also had dints, marks and nails showing. Darbecca went through, they have found quite a few items. The bricks where holes and cracks were in the brickwork, was patched with grey mortar, but the rest of the house is with off white mortar. Not happy. We are going back in two weeks and hopefully they have fixed all these problems. Fingers are crossed. Not what I wanted to happen today. Today was meant to be a great day. Where abouts are you building? In Melbourne's north I don't much like our chances of getting better quality trades. I have asked for another painter to come and fix the issues from the frustration painter. Re: Boutique Homes 3270May 26, 2017 7:28 am I dont think they have that option. I have the same plan and will be doing after moving in along with downlight installation. Make sure you plan your wifi router location strategically so that there won't be any wifi blackspot locations in your home. You can use this postmad ... it is a wireless AP(access point) you can put it on your ceiling similar to a smoke alarm but u have to run a LAN cable but works better than an extender. --------------------------------------------- Building a St. Tropez 25 - Boutique Homes Aurora Estate Wollert - Victoria Re: Boutique Homes 3272May 26, 2017 5:22 pm --------------------------------------------- Building a St. Tropez 25 - Boutique Homes Aurora Estate Wollert - Victoria Re: Boutique Homes 3276May 30, 2017 8:21 pm Jadeypox mj2016 Colour selection today for us!
