Are they placing the real door already? Always thought that come last Re: Boutique Homes 1827Feb 15, 2016 1:29 pm Donaldouk We chose the Hume verve ver2. 1020x2340 Only one of plain garage door and the front door arrived. Is it an upgrade? My entry is only 2040mm height, upgraded width to 1020mm Nice choice 😃 send from tapatalk Re: Boutique Homes 1828Feb 15, 2016 2:00 pm Hi All what's everyone done in terms of Smart wiring for living in a fibre connected estate? How much has it cost to smart wire the house? We are getting a NBN pack which im sure just includes the connection from the street to house from boutique. But has anyone in the electrical appointment got things done in terms of wiring the house Also what about cables conduit for TV that can be hidden in the wall for mounted tvs thanks Re: Boutique Homes 1829Feb 15, 2016 2:04 pm blueboy152 Hi All what's everyone done in terms of Smart wiring for living in a fibre connected estate? But has anyone in the electrical appointment got things done thanks Smart wiring as home automation and home network? Nope, too expensive NBN is $1800 ish for 4 data points, if you need more, you would need to upgrade the board to be able to have additional 8 then pay for each additional data points on the places you want send from tapatalk Boutique Homes 1830Feb 15, 2016 2:11 pm En710- the width is an upgrade at the colour selection. But the height at one of the final variation they upgraded front and theatre door's height for free. Weren't complaining. I think it's the facade I chose. A little info. Just had my private frame inspection. Overall, went well. Just few minors. My inspector told me that a lot of the time when you hire a private inspector the company will replace the SS for that day to a more senior SS who knows a lot more and can handle any questions in the inspection. Well, my SS got replaced today. Lol. Not sure if it's a common thing. As long as the house is getting sorted I don't care. Lol. Brick work started today. Woohoo. Nice! 2040 front door is ok by me but hey, additional 30cm is always good, makes me feel smaller 😁 That's interesting! No wonder they want 48hours notice before inspection. Why can't they get you the senior SS full time... Will be so much better Congrats! Bricking started! Just after the Data points pack. 4 should be enough for me. What about a smart hub for the garage to place it all in, like a hills hub? Best to call or email your consultant for pricing, I think the Hills thing is part of security system. The security system start from $1400 but I don't know if it includes the Hills panel. Try asking some security providers for quote. If you have a one storey house, cabling should not be too difficult send from tapatalk Re: Boutique Homes 1835Feb 15, 2016 7:16 pm Home automation will cost u around $10k it just mainly controlling every appliance (powering it on or off) and lights in your house. Plus probably your climate control. Hills panel is for the alarm. Just make sure you place your LAN outlet in your home office, living areas for your tv sets and where u are connecting your wireless router. It is still faster for direct cable connection than wireless when you do alot of streaming and computer downloads. Remember most appliances in your entertainment area requires LAN comnection for faster online connectivity. --------------------------------------------- Building a St. Tropez 25 - Boutique Homes Aurora Estate Wollert - Victoria Re: Boutique Homes 1836Feb 17, 2016 7:58 am So i emailed Argus/Boutique. We are in a Opticomm estate and they have emailed me a price list for it. Fibre entry level estate pack is $1767 (So more then the $500 NBN prep pack they first mentioned) This includes Enclosure cabinet, Lead in cable for fibre, 1 tv, 1 phone and 1 data point This is quite Pricey Has anyone here built with Boutique in a Opticomm estate? Did you get this pack and was it all you needed after you moved in to get connected with a service provider? thanks, any extra help would be great! Re: Boutique Homes 1837Feb 17, 2016 8:16 am @blueboy152 I can't help on that unfortunately, however I do know that you acn only choose from Opticomm provider like iinet, exetel, internode etc. Surely you can call one and ask them. Looking at the basic pack, I'd actually upgrade to four pack. It give you 4 data points which I think is a minimum for a house. It really depends how you want to use it in the house of course send from tapatalk Re: Boutique Homes 1838Feb 17, 2016 11:04 am Bandha JP79 ...may I ask what colour bricks you've gone with? and is that a Contempo Façade? Both the bricks and façade look very similar to what I was thinking of choosing for our own. The bricks are Austral Chestnut, which is just a Cat 1. And yes, it is a Contempo facade, which got rendered during the week but it's all in the 'main' render colour so I'm assuming the contrast render is still to come. The front door is a new appearance as well. Hi Bandha, love your bricks. Did you upgrade the mortar to off-white? or is this standard normal mortar we are looking at the same bricks thanks Boutique Homes 1839Feb 18, 2016 6:40 pm Got the sad news that our land will be late by about 6 months I guess that means more savings then I'd need to see if boutique willing to hold the price several months more (we haven't signed the contract) 10 15751 Ask for references and speak to them.
