Hi everyone
Just wondering if anyone has received credit pricing for removing an outdoor living space? We're building the Barcelona and contemplating doing the outdoor area ourselves.
TIA
Yes, we have Darbecca and they have being there at every stage. https://letsbuildwithboutique.wordpress.com
Then u are in great hands. Only things I would suggest to look for is scratches on your cupboards, check all around caesar stone to ensure no cracks, chips and fill is proper. No paint or pulls in carpet, tiles in shower is flush and not sharp ends sticking out and doors and locks all work. Re: Boutique Homes 2864Oct 17, 2016 3:40 pm Hi, We are looking to change our build to Boutique homes. Our current builder has been a complete nightmare. 9 months and we still aren't at contract stage. I was wondering if anyone had a link to the cost of basic extras with Boutique homes? Or if they are happy to provide you with this information before paying a deposit? Re: Boutique Homes 2866Oct 18, 2016 12:17 am We ended up contacting a sales representative, who is creating a basic quote with the extras we have mentioned. All without paying any deposit. Wow, such good service. So many builders don't even want to assist you past selecting your home without paying a deposit. It's only day one of contact with Boutique Homes, but I'm impressed. My land was scraped and temp fence 2 weeks ago there seems to be little progress when I visited today. It seems that way. We are going into our 6th week since the fence is up and no sign of the slab. Not even the slab frame yet. I received an email update on Tuesday which informed me slab would be completed this week however even with the 2 nice sunny days no work was done at all. Mind you, they still worked on the other Boutique home and 3 Home Buyers Centre homes in the same street. Very disappointing. It appears that since they restructured their plans and packages and took on my work they are really falling behind on some individual builds. Their communication is also lacking as they can't explain to me why there is no activity on our block however lots on others. It is even more disappointing as we had such a great experience right up to this point. Re: Boutique Homes 2871Oct 23, 2016 8:30 pm Aimz086 I hope they're not slow because my neighbours building with Simonds are flying through their build and I'm hoping Boutique can match that. Unfortunatey in the Wollert area they are not flying my 2 neighbors are just 8 weeks into their build the bricks, evap cooling are already installed ... and my property looks like a scene from the Battle of Somme with muddy fields, trenches and looks like shell craters Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ --------------------------------------------- Building a St. Tropez 25 - Boutique Homes Aurora Estate Wollert - Victoria Re: Boutique Homes 2872Oct 24, 2016 11:52 am Aimz086 I hope they're not slow because my neighbours building with Simonds are flying through their build and I'm hoping Boutique can match that. Boutique will definately not match Simonds with their builds. For starters Simonds plaster their homes before the bricks are finished, what happens if it rains??? Could only imagine. My preference is a bit slower build but better quality finish. However, I have noticed that Boutique take so long to start the build, the Administration side of things lets them down. Boutique have a time frame of 12 weeks once block in in their hands to begin construction, but once they start they're on to it and they won't pour if rain is expected. They wait for a day where it's no rain for 3 days in a row. Re: Boutique Homes 2877Nov 07, 2016 3:25 pm Hi all Does anyone know whether you can select Dulux wall colours internally? Or is Solver the only option? TIA Building the Barcelona with Boutique Homes - construction due to commence approx. Re: Boutique Homes 2880Nov 12, 2016 7:26 am Aimz086 Solver and Wattyl is what they have displayed up in the showroom but I'm pretty sure they have dulux colour swatches in a drawer there as I saw it along with the Solver one. Thanks Aimz086. The dulux swatches are for selecting glass splashback colour options. We were advised Boutique do not offer Dulux as an upgrade for internal walls because their Solver 3-coat system is equivalent to Dulux Wash & Wear. Whether that's true I don't know.
