This thread has gone a bit quiet, I hope everyone's planning/building is coming along. We are a few weeks out from our colour/electrical appointments and wondered how many downlights people are putting in, and how many 2-way switches, especially in double storey houses? Any words of wisdom for the electrical appointment? Thanks for any input!
We are building a single storey so might not be as useful, but to give you an idea, our 27sq house got about 40 light points. We plan to do the downlights after handover as its easy to do on one level. Maybe contact an electrician and ask how much it cost to install downlights after build. I do think you need all cabling for downstairs correct tho.
Have you asked for the basic electrical plan from boutique for your plan? That way can plan before the meeting
Our two ways lights are on hallway (beginning and end), bedroom (near door and near bed), outdoor spotlights all over the house (so we can control it from separate room if needed) I'm thinking for a 2 level you might want it on the stair
Send from my phone. Pardon the incorrect autocorrect.
