Hi Melvinglenncallejo, that alarm system sounds reasonable? Do you have a contact number for your electrician?

I guess I should call up the office and find out when that can be booked, because if it could be for the following day, or couple of days, that would be ideal. Re: Boutique Homes 1814Feb 10, 2016 1:49 pm Hi Baneshouse, slabs only need to cure for 24 - 48 hours these days with the chemical make up that is now put into them. your slab continues to completely "cure" for years after construction has been completed but it is perfectly suitable to commence frame works a day or two after it has been poured. theres no need to stress Re: Boutique Homes 1817Feb 11, 2016 8:23 am Just got some alarm quote - one provider quoted $1800 for Bosch 3000 with 4 pet friendly sensor 😬 By the way, anyone upgraded to 3 phase electricity? Wondering what the cost is as I will be installing split system air con send from tapatalk Re: Boutique Homes 1818Feb 11, 2016 4:40 pm EN710 Just got some alarm quote - one provider quoted $1800 for Bosch 3000 with 4 pet friendly sensor 😬 By the way, anyone upgraded to 3 phase electricity? I was planning to install a split type aircon as well didn't know it needs a 3 phase electricity. You are correct on the 1.8K CCTV quote I got the same from another provider (I might consider the Arlo wireless for the perimeter CCTV) and just do a DIY for the front (for continuous recording) might get the Hickvision I just need to run a CAT5/6 cable towards my NBN port area For your 3 phase electricity issue (see below). "I was quoted $660, now they are saying it is actually $1500, because the standard specifications are 8 meters and I needed 19 meters. A rough quote from a sparkie would be awesome!!!!!" Here is a rough guide as well (from the Brisbane area): Convert phase of supply – standard underground $450 (excl. GST) $675 (excl. They finally get back to me with price $1370 for upgrade $660 for the surcharge protection. I'm on the fence on this. Most people say you won't need it unless using a high power items in your shed. But others also said, if you ever need one, it'll be more expensive to retrofit Talked to air con provider, he said for we don't need three phase lol send from tapatalk Re: Boutique Homes 1820Feb 12, 2016 2:11 pm Ugh. Throw a spanner in the works on my place. The final inspection was meant to be on Monday, and everything all fine and dandy, but then this afternoon my SS calls me to tell me his boss has been through the house, and isn't happy with the final state of it - and wants to push our final inspection back A WHOLE WEEK! AAAARRRGH. This is ridiculous. Nothing aggravates me more than someone pushing back a deadline to get something done, and then renegging on that deadline AGAIN due to not finishing what they'd promise to get fixed. I'm currently waiting for a call back from the SS's boss to vent my complaints. 10 15849 Ask for references and speak to them. If they are defensive or try to avoid the request, walk. 1 76186 |
