Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Boutique Homes 988Mar 06, 2015 12:21 pm @ Baneshouse I feel very sorry listening to all the crap you have to go through just because of the developers misguidence in land settlement. We went through the same issue till the last moment where they postponed for 6 months in titling the land. But we were lucky enough to get it before the deadline given by B.Homes. Hope it all goes smooth for you @ Petaj ... Your house looks amazing and iam happy to hear all the people are on the same page choosing BARCELONA ...lol Re: Boutique Homes 991Mar 06, 2015 4:27 pm ashoka Theon We just recieved regarding the shower tiling... And they send us the pics also Ashoka - We probably got the same email hehe Did you have to return it to them by COB tomorrow as well even though it's a Saturday? Private building inspector came last friday. 16 minor things to be fixed before handover. I cannot stress enough to you all please get a building inspector. It is so important. Still having issues with paying extra for a low iron splashback and it looking blue. This is now going to higher management. I just dont want it to end on a sour note with Boutique. Re: Boutique Homes 996Mar 08, 2015 9:20 pm Looking good were not getting building inspector we can see what needs doing so its fine with us but good for u if u need peice of mind. I can see the bluish colour..... i think its more obvious too because of the warmth of your cupboards... why does glass have to be blue so annoying. I dont think it looks bad at all though Re: Boutique Homes 997Mar 08, 2015 9:22 pm Not able to post sorry. From stage one there has always been things that Boutique have had to fix. Now we have peace of mind that behind my walls it has been done properly. Doesnt matter who the builders are they are always doing shortcuts. Rather be fussy than have this big investment not done properly. Re: Boutique Homes 998Mar 08, 2015 9:25 pm Yea they do hire trades and trades can short cut and make mistakes upto ur site supervisor to get those fixed ours has been great with any small thong we have noticed along the way. I think inspectors are a waste of money personally but its always good to have another set of eyes looking over things... cause it is a huge investment!! But a good one Re: Boutique Homes 999Mar 08, 2015 9:26 pm Yeah PetaJ my fiance and I have no idea what we are looking at so we went with our gut to get one and just so glad we did as wouldnt have a clue. I just want them refund the $1000 if they cant replace it and we will get caeserstone splashback installed after. Just over it all now. Re: Boutique Homes 1000Mar 08, 2015 9:29 pm Looking amazing Shellzmac. I can see the light blue colour too though I'll have to agree with Petaj that it doesn't look bad at all. It'll even look even more stunning once the rangehood and oven go in. You did have a vision for it not to be blue but from an outsider's perspective it looks pretty good actually. 10 16108 I would never build with Fowler homes. I built with them in 2021 and till date maintenance issues are pending. All their existing trades and businesses don't work with… 14 108685 |
