Re: Custom loft with Format in SA- Colorful splashback ;-) 405Sep 25, 2013 3:17 pm thank you guys today my husband met tilers on site (rare chance to sneak inside and take photos ) by the look of it they almost finished, bathrooms are standard size so not a big deal I guess the tiles look exactly as expected: charcoal and gloss white ensuite cabinets color is my favorite so far photos: Re: Custom loft with Format in SA- Tiles photos 406Sep 25, 2013 7:25 pm Very nice finish/colour - especially the ensuite. Looks very fancy Custom downslope build Build thread viewtopic.php?f=31&t=61873 Blog http://www.buildingroyalmanor.blogspot.com.au Re: Custom loft with Format in SA- Tiles photos 407Sep 25, 2013 8:34 pm I can see why the ensuite colour is your favourite. Everything looks good, but that ensuite cupboard is amazing. What colour is it? Re: Custom loft with Format in SA- Tiles photos 408Sep 25, 2013 8:48 pm Thanks guys, the ensuite unit colour is Jarrah. Re: Custom loft with Format in SA- Tiles photos 410Sep 26, 2013 9:30 pm Gorgeous. Also love the ensuite. Re: Custom loft with Format in SA- Tiles photos 411Oct 05, 2013 5:36 pm Some update. Our preliminary PCI date is 25th of October! We are really hoping builder will make it as our rent is about to expire soon. From what I saw on site the only remaining bits are tapware, wall painting and paving/stormwater 3 weeks should be quite enough for that. Now the pictures.

It could be much quicker if we would have picked one color for all walls, but we have at least 5 of them and so they cannot use one bucket The electrical is almost finished, almost because they probably wait on painters before they can install coverplates. So far we've noticed only 2 minor things. First one is that they put white powerpoints coverplates on the splashback instead of chrome ones and another is that the area between passage and laundry won't have any tiles there because it is not a "wet" area as we thought before. So we kind of agreed and husband went to solomons and ordered a bit more timber to cover this tiny spot. Cannot wait when they finally start retaining walls, drainage and paving around the house, then we could have a fence. Our SS sounds like he is determined to bring our first preliminary PCI in 2 weeks. No matter what we have to move in November!! What did they expect would cover the floor between the passage and laundry? That's weird. Glad you've been able to fix the problem quickly. Seems like the wrong colour plates are a common problem, but they'll fix that.
