Finally got the scanner working! - had to reinstall the driver five times (amidst much cursing :oops:

) For some reason PC wasn't picking up that the scanner was attached (damn technology lol).

DFH are still going at Speedy Gonzalez pace. Considering that three weeks ago I had a bare block of land, I'm a little stunned at the pace. This is what I found when I visited today:

Does everyone have a sliding door in the laundry now? My new house (18mths old) has one, yours has one, oznow has one, is this the norm?

DFH do build quite fast, i know two houses in my area are being build by them and they are very close to completion. they started roughly 4 months ago...

I can only hope that after 4 months they'll be close to completion - at the moment I'm paying rent, mortgage and a car loan :roll:

I spoke with the bank today to confirm they got my first progress payment invoice, and asked "you have submitted my First Home Buyers grant paperwork, haven't you????"

I'll be heading done over the weekend to see if there's any more progress (and to sticky beak around the other houses going up :wink:

)

One thing I saw that made me :evil:

was the PD builders next door who are at bricking stage are leaving their bricks all over my block, and even in MY garage!! If they had have been on site whilst I was there I would have shoved the brick......well, you know where :evil:

The guttering is colorbond jasper. I've also got the windows frame in jasper too but you can't see them too much behind the lovely green plastic :lol:

The only issue I saw whilst onsite were 2 roof tiles over lounge room area that were placed higher than the other tiles and there's a gap but this is an easy fix I should think.

I'm really happy with the colour match between the Boral Chocolate Brown tiles and the jasper. I want to see it with the bricks so much now

I can't believe how fast it is moving!

You must be so excited. At this rate, you'll be at lock up soon! Nice roof tiles and bricks, I think they'll look really nice together.
