Hi all,
DW and myself are considering to build Monaco Q1 with Henley on our land at Williams Landing. We do like the Monaco design, however we are concerned that Henley is not able to give us fixed site cost on our Monaco quote, due to the house being 0.9metre to the rear easement. She said site costs will be finalised at tenders. this means we have to put down our initial deposit first, and proceed to tender. So if on tender day, the site cost come in very high, say $20K plus, then we wont be proceeding ahead anymore and hence will lose our deposit. The sales consultant does not even want to give me a hint at how much it may cost up to. She said the reason is due to the closeness to the easement, bored piers will be required and thats why they cant give fixed site costs.
Hence, can I please ask, for those of you who built with Henley, did you encounter similar situation?
did you get a fixed site cost on your quote before you put down your initial deposit?
Will appreciate your info. Thanks!
