It's our third and final build so I got to have the fire and floors I've always wanted. We were quoted straight up on all site costs etc and then made charges upgrades and deleted things and worked out less than the 'base price' If never take the display home costs as the final price as they are upgraded way more than they need to be (in the extra down lights alone) we are building a display but catered to our own needs Best way to get an indication of the price is look at no upgrades and only add what you actually want (The edge in Sydney from Rawson is majorly upgraded with some extremely fancy fittings..) Cheapest was $221 Then final contract was $312, including about $10 of site costs Then we... added games in lieu of alfresco rejigged the master and pantry to have bigger pantry upgrades for internal doors, glass splashback, extra feature cornice, more draws in kitchen and pantry, changes from heat pump heater to instantaneous. Our sales rep took us through the display to work out if we should start at top spec and downgrade or start at bottom spec and upgrade. We only deleted a couple things from that as we were mindful of building forever home, so didn't want to get rid of too much. So thinks like semi frames show screens and sliding robe doors were already included... And since we have built display spec, and then seeing that they were selling the actually display home on cheaper land then ours for $700k we were pretty stoked Jen Building with HomeGroupWA (started as Scott Park Homes ) - Grand Wisteria Check out my Build Thread!!
