I love your bricks and am completely jealous of anyone who has more on their block than us (we are still unregistered) Just curious, whereabouts is the store with the water features, if you don't mind me asking? We will be looking to get one in the front yard between a couple of piers on our secondary/corner facade, and these look good! Decent prices? Blog: "Race to Oran Park" - updated 25.8.2014 Re: Eden Brae - My First Home The Lawson 24 82Feb 26, 2013 7:53 pm The store is near Cessnock - in the Hunter Valley. The prices weren't too bad - 1000. Not the cheapest but by far not the dearest either. Re: Eden Brae - My First Home The Lawson 24 83Feb 26, 2013 8:11 pm Cody drysdale... I have been checking out their water features, reasonable prices. Will have to have another look at the Bali shop, haven't been there since the house was sold - we saw that a Fantastic Furniture went in that section recently and were worried maybe they had left (but we didn't look very closely lol). I hope they do something with the old Clive Peters/Flower Power Really like the Lawson. It was between that and the Drysdale when we were looking. The floorplan is so practical. Next time we're up Newcastle way visiting family, we'll have to have a look around at the stores up that way. Then the internal woodwork can begin. Re: Eden Brae - My First Home The Lawson 24 90Mar 04, 2013 6:08 pm We are the same stage... It's very exciting! Isn't it? So, it sounds like your build has caught up those few days that I was ahead of you. If we keep at the same pace we should get our houses around the same time. Re: Eden Brae - My First Home The Lawson 24 92Mar 04, 2013 8:57 pm Our ss told us PCI is anticipated for 29 April, with settlement down for the 14th may. hope they keep to schedule. I hope that they keep to that pace and we keep going at the the schedule. Re: Eden Brae - My First Home The Lawson 24 94Mar 06, 2013 10:17 pm More work has been done over the last few days. The cornice is all finished and the doors are on. That's right - were officially at lock up. The internal doors and frames are also in the house and ready to be installed. It'll be great to see how far they get this week. Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Oh, and the water tank is sitting inside the garage. They installed all the skirting, arcitraves and door frames and have hung all the internal doors (only ones missing are the cavity sliders - but they go in later. And there seems to be some of the waterproofing done in the bathrooms. Pluse the cement and sand for the tiles arrived. Now all I need are tiles and a tiler. It seems like its really flying at the moment. Is there anything else that needs to be done before tiling happens?
