So sorry that I haven't been back in to update, life has gotten in the way lately Well, we seem to have a new site supervisor and things seem to be going much more smoothly and quickly now. We are at lock up, internal painting started today. Its suddenly hit me today that after that there is really only the kitchen/bathrooms to go in, the electrical and plumbing fitout and flooring! There are a few things outside like driveway and turf/landscaping. We have organised our fencing and that is all up! I wlill try to pop back in the next few days and bore you all with pictures Cheers Sam Our first home... viewtopic.php?f=31&t=60460 Land Dep paid 26/2/12 Site cleared7/12/12 Slab 20/12/12 Frame 25/1/13 Bricks 19/2/13 Re: Our families first home--bricks nearly done - more pictu 143May 01, 2013 9:07 pm Yay, congratulations on getting to lock up! We are still waiting for roof since our brick was done 3 weeks ago:( Somehow Kurrajong just doing nothing for last 3 weeks same like your situation. Is it was a problem with supervisor? If you don't have any problem who was your last SS, looks like our one also not that organized. Re: Our families first home--bricks nearly done - more pictu 146May 20, 2013 11:51 am Looking really good! Re: Our families first home--bricks nearly done - more pictu 147Jul 27, 2013 6:36 pm Spottie, wondering how your house is going. We are building a new home and at the point if exteriors. It was very interesting to read you change from a slurry brick to PGH Cement. We did exactly that same thing, I don't want to stress over bricks chipping and colour fading. Your other selections are similar to what we have chosen. We are thinking gunmetal roof, monument for gutters & garage, shale grey for facia and gutters (I think, need to look at sample not a photo) and Wideline charcoal for the windows. It would be great if you have your latest photos I would love to see your bricks. All the best! Re: Our families first home--bricks nearly done - more pictu 148Feb 02, 2015 10:46 am Hi Spottie, How did your build go? We are going to start building with Kurrajong in Jordan Springs when our land is registered in June. I've been reading some horrible reviews on Kurrajong, so I'm wondering how your house turned out? Regardless of wall hung toilet or floor pan toilet your feet will be right on drain, seems to me the waste should not be in that location given the design. Also are you… 6 7120 I work with owner, he/she is my man on the ground and I instruct them when to visit the site and take photos and I have other tools in the bag. 4 15435 I am in the same situation, would you be able to give some insights in to this?
